In order to complete a project (i.e. assign a status of 'Complete' to the project), both buyer and service provider must rate each other. The rating process is quick and easy.

Rating a Service Provider

If you are a buyer, click the Manage Projects button on the Outsourcing.org Projects home page, or the link in the left "nav." You will be taken to a page that lists all of your projects in reverse chronological order along with their current statuses. Find the 'Closed' project that you want to rate and click the name of the service provider. This will open the Rate Member page. Enter a score in the Score field. Select from 1 - Very Poor to 10 - Very Good. Then enter comments about the service provider in the Comments field. This field has a limit of 3000 characters. Click the Rate Now button to submit your rating.

Rating a Buyer

If you are a service provider, click the View Bids button on the Outsourcing.org Projects home page, or the link in the left "nav." You will be taken to a page that lists all of your bids in reverse chronological order along with their current statuses. Find the 'Closed' project that you want to rate and click the name of the buyer. This will open the Rate Member page. Enter a score in the Score field. Select from 1 - Very Poor to 10 - Very Good. Then enter comments about the buyer in the Comments field. This field has a limit of 3000 characters. Click the Rate Now button to submit your rating.

Do not use the rating system to enter malicious or libelous information about another party, as this will result in blacklisting from the system and may lead to litigation.
