Viewing Your BidsAfter becoming a service provider member of Outsourcing.org, you will be able to login, bid and negotiate with buyers. To view your bids, click the View Bids button on the Outsourcing.org Projects home page, or the link in the left "nav." You will be taken to a page that lists all of your bids in reverse chronological order along with their current statuses. You may click on any project name in the list to view more detailed information about the project, including other bids and messages. Each link in the View Bids top "nav" corresponds to a status. Following is a breakdown of each status and what actions can be performed when your bid is in the status. All Projects The All Projects link shows all projects and all statuses. New projects will be displayed at the top of the list. In addition to viewing detail about the project by clicking the Project Title, you may also perform several different actions from this page depending on the status of the project. If a project is 'Open,' you may retract your bid by clicking the Retract Bid link. If a project is 'Frozen,' you may accept or reject the project award by clicking either the Accept or Reject link. If a project is 'Closed,' you may rate the buyer by clicking the buyer's name. Open Projects Open projects are new projects that have either not received a bid, or have not had a bid accepted. You may retract a bid by clicking the Retract Bid link. Frozen Projects Frozen projects are projects where a bid has been accepted, but the service provider has not yet accepted the award. You may accept or reject a project award by clicking either the Accept or Reject link. Closed Projects Closed projects are projects where the service provider has accepted the bid award. You may rate the buyer by clicking on the buyer's name and entering a score and comments. Completed Projects Completed projects are projects where both the service buyer and the provider have rated each other. Rating helps other companies identify suitable business partners. Service provider ratings are especially important since they impact Outsourcing Site Rank and can therefore affect the service provider's position in the directory. See also: |
