| [ Visit Site ] The Ohio Supercomputer Center (OSC) offers Ohio companies the use of advanced computational support resources. OSC was established in 1987 to position Ohio universities and industries at the forefront of computationally intensive research, development, and engineering. In addition to providing higher education, non-profit organizations, and government with access to shared information-technology resources, OSC provides industry access to unique resources on a cost-recovery basis. This allows companies to evaluate new emerging technologies or approaches. OSC consists of two main operating divisions: High Performance Computing (HPC) and OARnet. HPC provides support for compute-intensive applications, and OARnet provides advanced network connectivity and services. |
