The Genome Sequencing Center focuses on the large scale generation and analysis of DNA sequence. We play a leadership role in The Human Genome Project, constructing the clone map and contributing 25% of the finished sequence. It is the policy of the Genome Sequencing Center to openly share its genomics methodology and to rapidly release sequence data via its website to empower other researchers and to elucidate gene function.
