[ Visit Site ] The Division of Clinical Pharmacology at Indiana University has for many years interacted with the pharmaceutical industry through assay development, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analyses, and more recently, through the provision of pharmacogenetic assays and expertise. Areas of expertise within the Division include cardiovascular arrhythmia monitoring, antipsycotic and proton pump inhibitor assays, the efficacy and adverse effects of renal drugs, and cytochrome P450 phenotyping and genotesting. While often working in association with fellow investigators at Indiana University, the majority of the services currently provided by Clinical Pharmacology are to entities outside of the University.
