| [ Visit Site ] The Department of Chemistry at Georgia State University features research laboratories including a state-of-the-art high-field regional NMR core facility with 500 and 600 MHz Inova NMR spectrometers as well as a Bruker 500 and 600 MHz spectromedters and a picosecond laser laboratory. Other instrumentation includes UV/vis, infrared, fluorescence and circular dichroism spectrophotometers, and stopped flow instrumentation. Compound separation and analysis is achieved via HPLC, FPLC, centrifugal partition chromatography, capillary electrophoresis and GC/mass spec. Operating as part of the Center for Biotechnology and Drug Design (BDD), these facilities are available on a fee-per-service basis for use by industry, government and other academic institutions. |
